BINOCULAR TELESCOPES
There are many different types of telescopes and there are many types of uses for a telescope.
With just the selections of go-to, reflectors, refractors, focal length, eyepieces, ranges can be a daunting task. By first doing numerous searches to buy the perfect telescope you are taking the first right step, researching as much information and then making a decision. It can be costly if you don?t get the right one for you because it means to have to re-buy another one if you make a mistake by re-investing (spending twice the money) into another telescope.
Ask yourself how you will be using your telescope, will you use using while traveling or at home standing still. If mostly will be at home than figure where are you positioning it. Do you live in an apartment where you have a balcony or you live in a single family with a backyard and will you be moving in and out of the house of will it sit near a window.
If you live in a complex apartment then will you need small-refractors and spotting scopes? The more sky view is what your goal is, and then search for specifics according to where you live. Look at the specifications when buying your first telescope. Ask many questions before buying, after all is your money.
You can begin with the larger the aperture is the more you can get from your telescope. The movement of the telescope is important especially for beginners; the up or down and left or right movements are easy for beginners.

Reflectors are inclined to offer a combination of medium to large apertures with simplicity of use and are mostly used by beginners; they are very much liked by children and teens. The large reflectors can be mounted on turntables known as dobsonian mounts.
Refractor Telescopes have their main lens at the front end of the tube and refract the light to the eyepiece on the back end of the telescope. They create clear images due to lack of reflection. They might be the better choice in the suburbs. The smaller refractor is well-liked with those who want to 'grab it and watch it' without fussing with setting it up.
The heaviest refractors can be expensive but mainly bulky and heavy and these are not being used by everyone due to their size.
